Submit Your Project Suggestion

Please complete all of the information requested with the best data you have available. When you begin your online entry, you will have an opportunity to select the funding source(s) you consider applicable to your project suggestion: Alabama Gulf Coast Recovery Council (AGCRC), Gulf Coast Ecosystem Restoration Council (Federal Council), and National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF). As the Project Suggestion Form was designed to accommodate submittals for all of these potential funding sources, the information requested might include questions or entire sections not applicable to your project suggestion. Accordingly, as to any question not applicable to a project suggestion, you can respond by entering "N/A". (Please take a few minutes to review the information under the "eligibility criteria" link above.) Submissions to the Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) process use a different form that is linked below.

Guidelines for Submittal of Project Suggestions:

Attachments are restricted to maps necessary to adequately describe project location (limit of 3  maps), a budget outline, and, if applicable, a business plan. Other attachments will not be accepted at this time. All project suggestion submittals (including contact information of submitter) will be posted online and available for public review. However, prior to posting, all project suggestion submittals will be reviewed. Any project suggestion submittal containing inappropriate content will not be posted nor considered for funding. Due to this review, project suggestions will not be immediately available for viewing under the "Project Suggestion Submittals" tab. Submittal of a project suggestion does not guarantee that it will be selected for funding. (Best viewed using the latest version of these browsers: Google Chrome, Mozilla FireFox, Windows Internet Explorer 11, Apple Safari.)

A number of different entities oversee the distribution and oversight of these funds, and the processes for decision-making varies from state to state. Below is additional information about each process.
